The Barw Medical Journal is an online multidisciplinary, open-access medical journal with an extensive and transparent peer-review process that covers a wide range of medical aspects, including clinical and basic science. Barw Medical Journal has been published on a quarterly basis (four issues per year) since its inaugural issue in 2023 through the end of 2025. Beginning in 2026, in order to enhance the quality of article assessment and strengthen the peer-review process, the editorial team has decided to transition to a biannual publication model, with two issues released each year.
Open Access Practice & Article Processing Charges
Articles published by the Barw Medical Journal will be permanently and freely accessible; they are released online soon after their acceptance, without the need for registration or subscriptions. Authors are not charged for the accepted manuscripts as the article processing charge (APC) is currently covered by Barw Publishing Group (BPG).
